A subtle evolution of our Defender City. It may well be the most versatile model in our range.

Just as at home for a long day in a grey flannel suit or an elegant evening in jeans and a navy blazer.

The shape has been rounded and now uses the famous "Cooper" shape, sleeker, rounder and therefore more comfortable than its previous version.

This new version loses the lace eyelets for a cleaner finish that is more in line with its actual use.

In this City version, we tame the beast a little. The Dainite rubber sole is more feline, the stitching is a traditional Goodyear, the house's classic construction.

The result? A perfect balance.

Softer but retaining its solid character, this Defender City II regains a smart, urban look, for strolling through your favorite streets on foot or by bike.

It expresses its very fine classicism through the purity of its shapes and the understated look it gives to the silhouette. This pair pairs easily with a sports jacket, a fine suit, your favorite pair of jeans.

Oh, with it, you will look handsome in a turtleneck under the streetlights on a clear moonlit evening, in a sports jacket on a café terrace on an October afternoon or belted into your trench coat to cruise the boulevards polished by a short spring shower.

– Insert raw wood shoe trees into your shoes as soon as you take them off: They absorb moisture and preserve the integrity and shape of the shoe.

– Use a shoehorn for your comfort and to protect the shoe’s heel counter.

– Rotate your pairs of shoes as much as possible because leather needs to dry properly to remain supple and maintain its shape. Never leave your pair near a source of heat or moisture.

– Brush the leather regularly with a special suede brush, before or after each outing. Use a Saphir waterproofing spray every 2 to 3 months to ensure its protection.

– In case of stains, shampoo using a clean brush with a mixture of lukewarm water and Saphir Médaille d’Or Omni’Nettoyant. For grease stains, sprinkle with Terre de Sommières (Fuller’s earth). Let dry on shoe trees, then brush once dry.
