This boot, a true “classic Malfroid”, has many advantages: combine it with your pair of jeans or your wool or cachmere pants. Great with a pair of chino or even those “cargo” pants, with wide hems, known to be tough to match with the right shoes : the Stelvio will match.

Some aficionados even wear our boots with a wool suit or a nice tweed fabric.

Versatile from head to toe, the beautifully powdered suede leather and the 361 last create the perfect dosage between comfort, proportions and looks.

The rubber sole gives this shoe an undeniable asset ; its finesse gives the visual impression of a leather sole but the grip, comfort and durability is from the rubber. In a few years, when necessary, the goodyear welt will allow you to resole them easily!

– Insert raw wood shoe trees into your shoes as soon as you take them off: they absorb moisture and preserve the integrity and shape of the shoe.

– Use a shoehorn for your comfort and to protect the shoe's heel counter.

– Alternate your pairs of shoes as much as possible, as leather needs to dry properly to remain supple and maintain its shape. Never leave your pair near a source of heat or humidity.

– Regularly wipe your pair with a dry cloth or give them a quick brush.

– Use Saphir Médaille d’Or lotion every five to ten wears. It cleans and nourishes the leather: this is an essential and regular maintenance step. Saphir Médaille d’Or cream polish (neutral or matching the shoe color) is a complementary, more nourishing treatment.

– Once your shoes are clean and hydrated, apply a little Saphir Médaille d’Or shoe polish to provide extra protection and a glossy finish. Finally, buff using a chamois cloth or a soft-bristled brush.

– For a mirror shine (glacage), emulsify by alternating layers of polish and fine droplets of water, on the rigid parts of the shoe only. This operation requires time and precision. Run a nylon, wool, or cashmere stocking over a finished mirror shine.
