The Defender derby also comes in a boot version, the Highland: a serious contender for any fall/winter shoes out there, and certainly the most impressive model of our collection.

Showed here in a black waxed leather, this norwegian sewn beast rests on its « commando » rubber sole.

Take’em out and enjoy power and comfort: it is a boot for extreme conditions, an unstoppable crosser.

Yet its design remains elegant and it is a boot that will perfectly accommodate the urban context: its well-balanced proportions give it elegance, the sole is definitely thick but without overdoing it… our Highland has the right amount of style and gut!

A pair that enhances the sturdiness of a silhouette; comfort here is an asset: the derby allows it naturally; the generous rubber sole gives flexibility and durability.

Wear them in a casual but chic way. The « Defender » will take you anywhere both literally and figuratively and will hold a special place in your collection.

– Insert raw wood shoe trees into your shoes as soon as you take them off: they absorb moisture and preserve the integrity and shape of the shoe.

– Use a shoehorn for your comfort and to protect the shoe’s heel counter.

– Alternate your pairs of shoes as much as possible because the leather needs to dry properly to remain supple and keep its shape. Never leave your pair near a source of heat or moisture.
– This type of robust leather requires little maintenance. Once or twice per season, clean the leather with a slightly damp sponge, let it dry, then apply a small amount of Saphir “oily leather” cream or a vegetable-based leather grease, massaging it in evenly with a cloth or by hand. Let air dry.
