“The possible is never far from what is necessary.” Pythagoras
When Friday’s on our mind, we sometimes make grandiose plans. One imagines things, escaping to the sea, cooking up a menu, going to the market, choosing some greens, bread & roses, then meeting up with her or taking your loved one under a starry night after a couple of drinks. When Friday comes, one is inevitably a little distracted, pensive, : the upcoming weekend shall be exceptional, memorable, ideal, intense. So much to do, so many things to see!
You won’t necessarily have to go far. Just as long as you can bring along what you need to create sensational happenings. So, really, what is necessary, essential is the IOOS weekender, the new French bag from Malfroid.
Essential because:
- Ideally sized (50x38x30cm), somewhere between the Baise-en-Ville, the Cabas, the cabin luggage. Neither too heavy nor bulky, not small either.
- Well thought out with a large main pocket as well as two internal storage. Folded or not: everything will fit inside, even that nice bottle of champagne.
- Well built: in a thick, solid, cotton piece with a leather strap (vegetable tanning) that will not age but rather mature.
- Practical: hand held or locked on the shoulder, with its double zipped slides (from the Swiss brand Riri: the ultimate closure ⚡).
- Unisex (don’t fight over who’s bag it is, just have two of them)
- Handcrafted in France (in Lyon!)
- Perfect with a pair of Malfroid. Wear our Newport loafer for the summer or a Norwegian welted Defender for the winter and things should run smoothly.
In English the suffix -er designates the person or thing that does the action: a crosser, lover, an enjoyer, an escaper… Be all this and more with your weekender: it’s an infinity of possibilities in a single bag.
