The Superleggera is the new sole from Malfroid.
In anything, first impression is important: when it comes to wearing shoes, the sensation that our feet communicate to us when slipped into a new pair is crucial.
One has to feel good and the beauty of a shoe is nothing if there is not comfort first. This sensation must reflect the obvious, the successful marriage between the shape of a shoe and the shape of a foot, the sole being the meeting point of both into motion.
The Superleggera has an impressive flexibility, being much thinner and lighter than our classic soles. The whole behavior of the shoe is profoundly changed: walking is naturally pleasant, barefoot-like, as if the superfluous had been stripped off. Over time, the sole will show resistance and be easy to maintain since it is a real goodyear welt! Succeeding in creating such a thin and flexible sole is an achievement . Some would probably use the word ‘innovation’!
This summer our Superleggera promises you a little more air and lightness : soft, fresh, easy to slip into your luggage, perfect in a professional environment with a featherweight suit. Great to wear on vacation with light trousers and a polo, shorts or a swimsuit!
