In the manner of Elvis Presley in 1968, Malfroid announces the comeback of his classic leather-soled Tilsitt.

 

Loafer with a traditional mocassin upper, well proportioned, simple & rigorously versatile.

 

You will (we hope) like its beautiful roundness, its supple handling, the solidity of a real Goodyear, its generous tongue. In every way identical to our Tilsitt MK2 but without the commando sole.

 

The Tilsitt is undoubtedly the future centerpiece of your wardrobe thanks to the numerous combinatorial possibilities, in a formal format or totally casual. A bright and colorful sock to give some pep to the foot? Sure, why not. Or on the contrary, clothes with sober and dark tones (grey, black, dark blue) for a chic and controlled austerity. It’s up to you.

It’s true that the Tilsitt has often been featured at Malfroid with special leathers or commando soles. It’s back in a more understated version with a leather sole. A must-have among the classics, now available in smooth brown and black leather.

We use smooth French leather from the Roux tannery. Both supple and durable, it’s a key factor in the longevity of your new favorite shoes.

Leather sole, for the purists

Yes, rubber soles are all the rage. But a model this beautiful deserves to be mounted on a thin, elegant leather sole. The Goodyear welt ensures unbeatable durability.
