Fresh as a sunrise facing the mountains, the EXPLORER II made its first appearance last year in a boot version, and it completes its range for winter 2026/2027.
The philosophy behind this model is simple: to break down the barriers between “outdoor” and “city” by offering the perfect hybrid between these two worlds.
Malfroid offers a shoe with character, sleek and built to endure, yet versatile and elegant: it will accompany you from Chamonix to Paris, first class or on foot.
Yes, it shares family traits with the DEFENDER, an icon of the Malfroid range, but the EXPLORER goes further, incorporating more visual and technical elements from mountain footwear. Its new commando sole is lighter to be worn from Monday to Sunday; it needs to be equally comfortable for a day’s hike off the beaten path and for going to a restaurant in the evening. A monster of versatility, but always with a unique style.
