Baseball boneless cap
Embroidered in Paris, France
A cap is a wardrobe’s basic provided it is well cut (yes a cap also has a cut) and not overloaded with useless/tasteless details (vivid colors, patterns, padding): it should remain simple, timeless, comfortable, classic.
Our Malfroid cap is of such stuff, it will protect you from the wind, the sun and will give you the choice of showing or hiding your beautiful eyes.
The model is a dad cap. Named so a few years ago when, in the USA, the dad style was revisited and made furiously trendy. This boneless type (ie flexible because without armature) can be carried everywhere, easily folded in a carry-on, and worn in a flash: when jumping out of bed, with a sports jacket, the perfect raincoat, heading to the flea market or out to lunch with friends.
Soon, you will realize that actually you own one of these (too rare) “companion caps”, that is to say your absolute favorite hat, in all circumstances.
The cap, you know, which on a rainy Sunday evening, after discreetly sneaking up to one of the last free seats in a dark room of a local cinema, you quickly remove, sliding it along your bust right onto your knees in a furtive movement of the arm while giving a still slightly foggy look at the screen where the film has started.
A cap to put on the counter of your favorite pub or to throw on your lounge chair before diving in crystal waters and that seats there, silent and slightly deformed, and which even like that, momentarily abandonned, looks awesome.
The one you take off from the coat rack before walking the dog, on Christmas Eve.
The obvious cap that needs no thorough reflection, no hesitation, that ages well and that embellishes us every time, a little magically perhaps.
Our caps are available in a very limited edition. Great cotton quality & embroidered with wit : owning it is a bit like being part of a club; a club of men who like to feel good from head to toe.
